incubate, dates TBA, is a supported space for artists to develop their practice, working individually or collaboratively. incubate sees a group of selected performing and performance-making artists come together in a paid opportunity to deepen their creative practice and discuss best practice in collaboration across sectors. Bringing together a diversity of approaches to performance-making, incubate artists consider new tools, share the challenges they currently face, and explore how their practices may intersect or inform each other. Artists participate in discussion sessions (in-conversation), and have access to studio space, opt-in videography support, mentorships and industry showing. Artists may have a seed of an idea that they have been trying to get off the ground, or desire to spend more time developing their performance practice.
